Description:
For one unforgettable week, trade suitcases for hiking boots and swap the ordinary for the Alps. Your home base is Grindelwald, a storybook village tucked beneath three of the most legendary peaks in the world: the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, where cowbells echo across green pastures, and the mountain air smells like pine and possibility.
From there, the adventure only climbs. Lace up for the Männlichen Royal Walk & Panorama Trail, a ridgeline path so stunning it’s been walked by kings, where every turn reveals another postcard view: the Lauterbrunnen Valley plunging below, glaciers glinting above, and your family walking it together, one breathtaking overlook at a time.
Then it’s up, way up, aboard the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe. Over 11,000 feet above sea level, you’ll wander an ice palace carved into a glacier and gaze out across the longest ice river in the Alps, feeling for a moment like you’re standing on the roof of the world.
Back at a lower altitude (and warmer temperatures), the Aare River is calling. Its glacial water runs an impossible turquoise, and there’s nothing quite like floating downstream as a family — laughing, sun-warmed, and completely present, with no phones, no schedules, just the current and each other.
We’ll trade mountains for water again in Lucerne, where medieval bridges and Lake Lucerne’s impossibly blue water make for an afternoon that feels lifted straight out of a fairy tale.
And for families craving an extra jolt of adrenaline, canyoning drops you into the heart of a Swiss gorge, rappelling past waterfalls, sliding down natural rock chutes, and plunging into crystal-clear pools carved by centuries of alpine water.
We’ll close the week the way every great adventure should end: high up, together. The Stoos Ridge Hike delivers sweeping, 360-degree views of the Swiss Alps that will stop you mid-step, not just to take in the mountains, but to take in the family standing beside you, who made the whole week unforgettable.
Spots are limited. Don’t just picture the Alps. Bring your family, and stand in them.
What to Expect:
This isn’t just a trip. It’s a week that will shape how your family sees the world, sees each other, and sees God’s handiwork in creation, together, at 11,000 feet and everywhere in between.
